A passionate and dedicated educator, Emily has maintained a vibrant private piano studio for students of all ages and skill levels in Manhattan for over a decade.

Emily was an Adjunct Faculty member at NYU, an instructor at The Browning School, and currently serves on the Instrumental Faculties of The Spence School and Lucy Moses School.

A Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner and an active member of the Piano Teacher’s Congress of New York, Emily aims to give her students access to a diverse range of educational and performance opportunities in the New York area.

Playing piano is such a powerful and incredible gift, for oneself and others. When we play, we are creating aesthetically on a very high level, often beyond what words can describe. It is my hope that all my students experience this transformative joy.

• Students of all ages and skill levels welcome! I offer an individualized and holistic approach to every student based on musical background, interests, and goals. All that is required is an interest in developing yourself artistically and musically.

• Lessons are dynamic and well-rounded. Students gain a deeper musical experience via a wide range of repertoire, and through the incorporation of improvisation, music theory, ear-training, sight-reading, and music history.

• As your teacher, it is my goal to fully support and foster your innate musical and artistic ability in a positive and nurturing environment.
